Painters for New Homes in the Village of Long Prairie

Long Prairie is part of District 16, which the City of Wildwood established in February 2025. Homes are cottage villas, designer homes and premier homes, and some homesites look out over preserve or water. Here is how we help Long Prairie owners settle in.

  • Preserve-side lanais kept clean
  • Interior repaints with full protection
  • No payment until you are satisfied

A brand-new district on the Eastport side

The City of Wildwood created Village Community Development District 16 by ordinance in early 2025, covering roughly 1,316 acres. Long Prairie is one of its villages, so homes here date from 2025 and 2026 and sit in Sumter County.

Local real estate agents describe Long Prairie as among the homes closest to Eastport Town Center. We have not confirmed which recreation centers or golf courses serve Long Prairie, so we would rather point you to the district than guess.

Preserve and water views

Homes that face green space

Some Long Prairie homesites back onto preserve or water. That view comes with a few maintenance habits worth starting early.

Gentle washing

Homes near vegetation and water can pick up mildew and pollen on walls and screens. A softwash cleans without blasting new stucco.

Screen enclosure frames

When the enclosure finish starts to fade, refinishing the frame restores it without replacing it.

Lanai floors

A flake coating stands up to wet shoes and outdoor furniture.

Cottage villas

Painting a cottage villa without the fuss

Cottage villas are one of the three home types in Long Prairie. They are compact, so an interior repaint moves quickly, but furniture placement is tighter. We move and cover pieces room by room and put them back when we are done.

If you want a bolder look, an accent wall or a refreshed cabinet color often does more in a smaller home than repainting every room.

Which district governs Long Prairie?

Village Community Development District 16, created by City of Wildwood ordinance. The village lies in Sumter County, in the Eastport Town Center area.

My lanai faces the preserve and gets dirty fast. What helps?

A softwash cleans walls and screens gently, and a flake coating makes the lanai floor easier to rinse. On a maintenance plan, that outdoor coating is warrantied for five years.

Can I paint the outside of my new home a new color?

Not without checking first. District 16 has its own Architectural Review process: builder-original and current-palette colors are normally fine, and anything new needs an application through Community Standards. We look up the current requirement and help you file.

Do you paint cottage villas?

Yes. We paint interiors in cottage villas, designer homes and premier homes, with two coats and full caulk-and-tape prep.
