Village of Bonita, District 7

Painting Bonita’s Villas and Homes, Inside and Out

Bonita’s attached villas and single-family homes went up between about 2006 and 2010, according to neighborhood guides. One guide to the area lists it among the villages close to Lake Sumter Landing. If your stucco is fading or your garage floor is stained, we can help with both.

District 7 at a glance

Where Bonita fits in The Villages

Bonita is one of the District 7 villages, part of the residential band between CR 466 and CR 466A. Sumter County created District 7 in 2004, and the district has roughly 4,765 home sites.

District 7 came after Districts 5 and 6, so its homes are a few years younger than the earliest villages near the square. Many Bonita homes have had one repaint by now; others are still on builder paint that is well past its best. Either way, the walls need a proper wash and fresh caulk before the new color goes on.

Call us and we will tell you honestly whether it can.

When were homes in the Village of Bonita built?

Neighborhood guides put Bonita’s construction at roughly 2006 to 2010. That puts most homes somewhere between their first and second exterior repaint.

Which district handles approvals in Bonita?

Bonita is in Village Community Development District 7. As in every district, keeping the original color or picking from the current palette generally avoids review, while a new color needs an Architectural Review Application. Since district rules get updated, we look up the current District 7 requirement before you commit.

Can you paint an attached villa without bothering my neighbor?

Yes. We protect the shared side, keep ladders and drop cloths on your side of the line, and finish the shared corner cleanly. We are happy to talk with your neighbor if you both want to repaint at the same time.

Do you coat garage floors?

Yes. We grind the concrete and install polyaspartic or epoxy flake floors. Our interior epoxy floors are warrantied for life.
