Marsh Bend went up around 2019 to 2020 south of State Road 44, and many of its homes are concrete block with stucco. Those walls hold paint well, but the stucco still moves, so the details matter when you plan the first repaint.

District 12 in Sumter County is home to Marsh Bend. The Everglades Recreation Complex, which held its grand opening on November 8, 2019, is in Marsh Bend near CR 468 and Florida’s Turnpike. The developer lists more than 15 miles of pedestrian paths, and the Hogeye Preserve nature trail is here too.
Marsh Bend Trail, one of the main roads here, leads toward Eastport, and some guides file the village under Eastport Town Center rather than Brownwood. A Marsh Bend home sold in 2024 for $1.235 million, double its 2020 price.

Listings and developer pages name several styles here, often with three- or four-bedroom plans.
Larger block-and-stucco homes with long sun-facing walls that show fading first.
The developer marketed Marsh Bend Verandas North and South. We plan the work around the homes next door.
Compact homes where clean lines at shared details make or break the finished look.
Refinishing the frame keeps the enclosure from looking dated next to fresh paint.
Stucco over concrete block expands and contracts with Florida heat, and small cracks are normal after a few years. Paint alone does not close them. We open, fill and prime them so water stays out and the repair does not show through.
For homes still on builder paint, the near-term work is usually garage and lanai floor coatings, interior color and a softwash. When the exterior is due, the stucco prep is what makes the new coat last.

You may not need to. Owners who stay with their builder color, or choose from what District 12 approves now, can usually skip the committee. Everything else is reviewed before a brush touches the wall.
Bring the colors you like; we line them up next to the approved District 12 options and your current walls.
Off-palette ideas are submitted on the district’s review form. If you have questions about the form, the district office is at (352) 751-3912, and we are happy to help prepare it.
We schedule the paint once you have the go-ahead, so nothing is done twice.
Cracks repaired, joints caulked, edges taped, then a pair of full coats.

(352) 626-8007Yes. The Everglades Recreation Complex is in the Village of Marsh Bend, south of SR 44. It held its grand opening on November 8, 2019.
Yes. We paint designer homes, verandas and patio and courtyard villas, and we plan the work around close neighbors and shared details.
Not if they are repaired first. We fill and prime hairline cracks before painting so they do not reappear in the finish.
Usually. A matching repaint, or a pick from the approved District 12 shades, is normally exempt. Policies get revised, so we confirm it for your address first.
Paint inside and out is protected against peeling and chipping for seven years. A lanai or other outdoor floor coating is covered for five years under a maintained plan.
Neighboring District 12 villages and the town centers to the south and east.
We come out at no charge and write up the price before we leave. A year after the work, we call to see how it is holding.
